Chesapeake Smoke

Well, I just fired it up. Kinky’s Texas Jewboy is a 6 inch by 56 ring gauge torpedo, nice and smooth, medium-bodied and very tasty. Kinky says it’s mostly Honduran and Nicaraguan, and it’s got a nice, spicy tingle on the lips, something I’m more accustomed to getting from a Cameroon wrapper. It’s well-constructed, burning evenly. I like it!

Looking forward to checking out the rest of the line. And who knows, maybe Titan will actually decide to carry this line.

Well, the package arrived yesterday. One each of the five sizes of Kinky Friedman cigars … the Governor, the Kinkycristo, the Willie (with a shaggy foot, named for Willie Nelson), the Texas Jewboy (a torpedo I’m really anxious to sample), and the Utopia. All feature a Honduran & Nicaraguan blend in the filler, with Costa Rican binders and Honduran wrapper leaves.

Now my biggest concern is, which adult beverage will I choose to accompany my Texas Jewboy?
